Frequently Asked Questions

How do we work with non-profits?

Goodera collaborates with 50K+ Non-Profits globally to provide them access to corporate volunteers, corporate donations and knowledge resources. Once onboarded, we publish curated volunteering opportunities of non-profits across our corporate partners and connect employees who are interested to volunteer in those opportunities. Furthermore, we also run giving campaigns with our corporate partners, and based on the theme and focus area, provide nonprofits with an avenue for fundraising. Many of our long-term non-profit partners have had the benefit of partnering with corporate partners for direct grants as well.

Is there a fee associated for Non-Profits to get onboarded?

No, it’s completely free for non-profits to get onboarded with us and get access to corporate volunteering and giving efforts. There are no hidden costs throughout.

What are the different kinds of volunteering opportunities that non-profits can provide?

Non-Profits can publish a variety of opportunities, including but not limited to:

  • Ongoing programs (such as mentorships, workshops with beneficiaries)
  • Skills/ Need Based (such as helping in social media marketing, grant writing, website design, etc. for the non-profit)
  • One-time (such as Translations, Creating care packages, etc.)

What information is required to publish an opportunity?

We require very basic information to get started, in 2-3 lines:

  • About the Non-Profit
  • About the Opportunity
  • Need for this Opportunity & Expected Impact from the opportunity
  • Role of the Volunteer (What exactly will the volunteer do?)
  • Time Commitment
  • Prerequisites & Terms and Conditions (if any)

Any other information that would provide more clarity to the volunteer is welcome and appreciated!

What happens once the opportunity details are provided to Goodera?

Once details are provided, we create the opportunity on our platform and publish it across our corporate partners; the process is kept transparent. As soon as any volunteer shows interest for your opportunities, we connect the volunteers with you/ share the final output from the volunteers basis the opportunity they registered for.

What else do the non-profit partners get out of this partnership?

As Gooders, we are constantly looking for ways to empower nonprofits globally. Apart from providing the non-profits access to our skilled volunteer base and corporate donation programs, we try add value through following ways:

  • Showcasing our non-profit partners on our website and social media handles
  • Creating impact videos for the non-profits highlighting their work
  • Free access to exclusive webinars with the experts on relevant topics like Fundraising, CSR laws, Virtual Volunteering, Campaign management etc.
  • Interviews and panel discussions with other nonprofits working on similar cause
  • Membership access to our Karma Community for Nonprofits on Facebook

Other than these, we are consistently exploring multiple ways to collaborate and support nonprofits in their cause, so if you have anything in mind, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at partnerships@goodera.com or simply book a call with our team - https://bit.ly/TalkToGooders

If you have any other questions or doubts, we are just a call away

A good world is where we see somebody who needs help here and we have a little bit extra there; and they have a little hole and we put it together to fill the hole with the extra, and everything is fine.

Volunteering your time is something we can't get back and it's like the only thing that we can't really grasp and have forever. So, the ultimate respect and ultimate gift that you can give somebody is to volunteer your time and your effort which feels so selfless.
