How does it work?

Client outreach

Our corporate partners reach out to us with their objectives, preferences, and focus areas for a volunteer project.

Project scoping

Our team matches the client’s preferences with a suitable nonprofit and volunteer activity and scopes out the project.

Organization and execution

Goodera organizes and hosts the volunteer project based on the client's preferences and provides all the necessary materials and support.

Completion and delivery

Once the project is completed, Goodera delivers the volunteer output (in-kind/digital) to the nonprofit.

Reporting and feedback

Based on the feedback and report from the nonprofit, we provide a detailed impact report to the client and volunteers.

Fun Fact

Many of our long-term nonprofit partners have had the benefit of receiving direct grants from our corporate partners.

Goodera nonprofit partnership
Here’s what we will do…

Laying the groundwork

  • Initiate partnerships to address urgent community needs and the organization’s capacity.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand the current needs and strengths of the nonprofit and the communities it serves.
  • Identify and execute short-term campaigns and projects that can deliver immediate impact to build stakeholder momentum and trust.
Now

Strengthening and scaling impact

  • Collaboratively design and refine programs based on initial feedback from short-term events. Focus on scalability and adaptability to different community contexts.
  • Foster deeper community involvement through regular feedback sessions and logistical planning.
  • Implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track progress, measure impact, and make data-driven adjustments to strategies and programs.
Next

Long-term collective partnership

  • Develop long-term strategic plans with the nonprofit, setting clear goals, milestones, and success metrics for sustained impact reporting.
  • Expand strategic partnerships with corporate and nonprofit partners that have a shared vision to achieve collective impact.
  • Diversify engagement strategies and expand touchpoints to ensure a long-term partnership.

More than 290 participants from EY joined us in making Educational cards for children. They had many amazing ideas from teaching the basics of cooking to handling finances. We were so happy to see some of the finished cards at the end. We thank Goodera and all the volunteers of EY for making this workshop a success.

Frequently asked questions

Below are some of the questions we hear the most from our nonprofit partners

Is partnering with Goodera free for nonprofits?

Yes, Goodera does not charge any platform or subscription fees to nonprofits. This aligns with our core values of supporting nonprofit missions without financial barriers.

Can Goodera curate volunteering projects or kits based on our needs/wishlist?

If you have specific needs or wish lists for in-kind donations, feel free to reach out to your partnership manager. We’d be happy to curate in-kind donations/kits to meet your requirements. Let us know how we can best support your organization!

If we confirmed volunteering projects for Goodera’s platform some time ago but haven't received any volunteers or in-kind donations yet, does that mean our partnership with Goodera is still active?

For sure! Your partnership with Goodera is still active. You should contact your Goodera partnership manager to discuss your current needs and any adjustments you'd like to make.

Will Goodera be able to provide us with any financial support?

Usually, Goodera does not provide donations alongside the in-kind or virtual volunteering projects. However, for all outdoor events, you can receive a financial donation to offset the efforts and expenses on your side. Additionally, some of our corporate partners have a generous Dollars for Doers program, where eligible nonprofits receive donations based on how much time their employees volunteer. Dollars for Doers is essentially a matching gift program whereby a company makes a donation based on employee volunteer hours multiplied by an hourly rate.

If the event involves a donation to the NGO, how long after the event should I expect to receive the payment?

Our typical payment timelines are net 30 days from receiving the invoice and required payment documents unless specified otherwise. Your partnership manager will keep you informed of any additional requirements.

Which social media platforms do you use to promote the nonprofits that partner with Goodera?

We use LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram to promote or announce our nonprofit partnerships. Otherwise, we internally promote volunteering opportunities to corporate clients by creating campaigns and specific requirements decks.

How far in advance will Goodera notify us if we need to coordinate an event that involves the presence of our community members and/or is being done on our site?

We strive to inform you of any volunteering events that involve an operational heavy lift on your part at least 3 weeks in advance.

Can you connect me with other nonprofits who have worked with you before so I can get their feedback before deciding to become a Goodera partner?

Absolutely! We’d be happy to introduce you to some of our long-term partners. Please reach out to your partnership manager at Goodera, and they will make some introductions.
