Frequently asked questions
Below are some of the questions we hear the most from our nonprofit partners
Yes, Goodera does not charge any platform or subscription fees to nonprofits. This aligns with our core values of supporting nonprofit missions without financial barriers.
If you have specific needs or wish lists for in-kind donations, feel free to reach out to your partnership manager. We’d be happy to curate in-kind donations/kits to meet your requirements. Let us know how we can best support your organization!
For sure! Your partnership with Goodera is still active. You should contact your Goodera partnership manager to discuss your current needs and any adjustments you'd like to make.
Usually, Goodera does not provide donations alongside the in-kind or virtual volunteering projects. However, for all outdoor events, you can receive a financial donation to offset the efforts and expenses on your side. Additionally, some of our corporate partners have a generous Dollars for Doers program, where eligible nonprofits receive donations based on how much time their employees volunteer. Dollars for Doers is essentially a matching gift program whereby a company makes a donation based on employee volunteer hours multiplied by an hourly rate.
Our typical payment timelines are net 30 days from receiving the invoice and required payment documents unless specified otherwise. Your partnership manager will keep you informed of any additional requirements.
We use LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram to promote or announce our nonprofit partnerships. Otherwise, we internally promote volunteering opportunities to corporate clients by creating campaigns and specific requirements decks.
We strive to inform you of any volunteering events that involve an operational heavy lift on your part at least 3 weeks in advance.
Absolutely! We’d be happy to introduce you to some of our long-term partners. Please reach out to your partnership manager at Goodera, and they will make some introductions.
Finding volunteers for nonprofits often comes down to access, visibility, and the right partnerships. Instead of relying only on organic sign-ups or local outreach, many nonprofits now collaborate with companies that actively encourage employee volunteering.
Goodera helps bridge this gap by connecting nonprofits with corporate teams looking for structured volunteering opportunities. This means you can access:
- Skilled volunteers from global companies
- Teams ready for one-time or ongoing programs
- Support across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats
From coordinating logistics to managing participation, Goodera ensures that volunteers are not just available, but aligned with your needs and ready to contribute meaningfully.
For companies and organizations looking to collaborate, finding the right nonprofit partners for volunteer initiatives requires alignment on cause, capacity, and impact goals.
Goodera simplifies this process by:
- Matching nonprofits with companies based on shared focus areas
- Curating volunteering opportunities that fit both parties
- Managing coordination, communication, and execution
This ensures that partnerships are not just transactional, but built for long-term impact. Nonprofits benefit from consistent engagement, while companies can run well-structured volunteering programs without operational complexity.
Volunteering through Goodera is designed to be structured, scalable, and easy to manage for nonprofits.
Here’s how it typically works:
- Discovery and Matching – Nonprofits are matched with corporate partners based on needs and objectives
- Program Design – Volunteering activities are curated to ensure they are meaningful and feasible
- Execution Support – Goodera manages logistics, volunteer coordination, and event delivery
- Impact Delivery – Completed outputs, whether in-kind or digital, are delivered to the nonprofit
- Reporting – Nonprofits receive clear insights on participation and impact
This model allows nonprofits to focus on their mission while ensuring that volunteer initiatives run smoothly and create measurable outcomes.
Nonprofits working with Goodera can engage a wide range of volunteers, including:
- Corporate employees across industries
- Skilled professionals for mentorship or advisory roles
- Teams for group volunteering activities
- Remote volunteers for digital and virtual projects
Whether you need hands-on support, knowledge sharing, or scalable team-based volunteering, Goodera helps match you with the right type of volunteers for your programs.
Yes. While many volunteering programs start as one-time events, Goodera also supports long-term engagement models.
Nonprofits can:
- Build recurring volunteering programs
- Partner with companies for ongoing initiatives
- Scale activities across multiple locations and teams
This helps create sustained impact rather than one-off contributions, making it easier to plan and grow your programs over time.
