Goodera – Bangalore’s Hulimavu Lake Cleaned by Employee Volunteers

Bangalore was once referred to as the City of Lakes. However, over the years, rising pollution levels have destroyed quite a few lakes across the city. Though the government is doing its bit, citizens too need to step forward and take action to avoid their surroundings from being degraded due to pollution. This is exactly what Goodera Employee Volunteers did!

Over 25 Indian corporate volunteers came together to remove waste from Bangalore’s Hulimavu Lake. Cumulatively, the volunteers managed to collect more than 100 kg of waste, thus making a huge difference to the aesthetics of the lake and its surroundings.

This event was organised and tech-enabled by Goodera. We are pioneers in the field of Employee Volunteering Programs with our impact being felt across the world. To get in touch with us and make your own volunteering program.
