In Indian context, mandatory CSR has encouraged companies to look beyond financial performance and equally emphasise on social and environmental responsibilities. The mandate has evolved over the past 7 years, guiding the companies to strategically create social impact. Off late, the MCA has swiftly made amendments in the law that have facilitated prompt corporate action for COVID-19 relief and rehabilitation.
Being at the center of the CSR ecosystem, Goodera deals with multiple compliance related queries from companies and implementing partners. The wide ambit of CSR regulation lends itself open to a wider range of interpretations and in turn ambiguities. This might lead to gaps in program design, cause delays in implementation eventually hampering the desired impact.
Through this webinar, Goodera aims to discuss solutions to some tough and yet-unaddressed questions. We encourage you to send us your queries regarding current and proposed regulations as well as their application during COVID-19 times.
Your questions can be about…Treatment, implications and carry over of unspent CSR Funds, Modalities of the proposed impact assessment draft rule, Eligibility of activities and beneficiaries for COVID-19 relief and rehabilitation and many more.
